Chat World™ Rules
Here You Will Find the House Rules for Our Chat Rooms & General Help for Chat World™
Chat World™ has voluntary moderators who help to keep the chat running smoothly and intervene when necessary. They are not there to spoil the chat but to help make Chat World™ a safer community. You Are Asked To Respect All Moderators.
**Please Do Not Email The Admin Team Requesting To Be A Moderator As Your Email Will Be Ignored – When CW Decides To Recruit Moderators We Will Let You Know – Thanks**
Users can be banned and will be banned if appropriate.
Chat world™ is now working with a child online protection unit who further investigate any user whom it is felt may be trying to act inappropriately with minors or whom may be requesting indecent materials.
- RESPECT ALL USERS WHO CHAT
- NO SEXUALLY EXPLICIT CONVERSATIONS (including sexual names)
- NO SPAMMING (including repetition of ffm/nim details/posting inappropriate sites)
- NO FLOODING (flooding the room so users don’t get a chance to type)
- NO CLONING (Deliberately copying someone’s name and being malicious or trying to confuse)
- DO NOT TRY TO IMPERSONATE A MODERATOR OR A MEMBER OF THE ADMIN TEAM (Mods / Admin’s have a little yellow star next to their name)
These are easy rules to follow and we ask that you respect them. If a user ignores the rules, they will be banned until further notice.
If you have a question about the chatworld™ or even if you have a contribution to make to the rooms/blogs, please email The Admin Team & either Chris or Jay will get back to you.
Please note that if you feel you were banned unfairly, you will need to provide screenshots of the conversation in question in order to make your appeal otherwise your email will be discarded. Send your inquiry to: mod@weareheretotalk.com
Please read the safety information below when using our anonymous chat rooms;
- Be careful who you trust online and remember that online friends are really strangers. People online, no matter how long you have been talking to them or how friendly they are, may not be who they say they are.
- Stay in charge of your chat. Keep your personal information secret when chatting online (name, address, telephone number, mobile number, private email address, picture), even if people ask for this.
- Check your profile and make sure it doesn’t include any personal information (Chat World 2.0) (name, address, telephone number, mobile number, private email address – be cautious when uploading a photo).
- Meeting someone you have only been in touch with online can be dangerous. If you feel that you ‘have to’ meet, then for your own safety you must tell your partner, a friend and take them with you – at least on the first visit – and meet in a public place in daytime.
