General Acceptable Use & Privacy Policy

We at weareheretotalk.com™ and our organisation, Chat World™, Inc., (hereinafter referred to as Chat World™) have created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to protecting the privacy of the personal information we gather from our registered adult & child users.

Chat World™ recognizes that our users have legitimate concerns about privacy. This concern for privacy becomes even more important when the users are children under the age of 13 years. We support the guidelines and requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) which became law on April 21, 2000. We have put in security measures in the registered chat where users should be at least 13 to register.

Chat World™ recognizes that there maybe times where young users use the anonymous chat where no registration is needed therefore meaning no personal details are collected or stored unless IP addresses are needed for further investigation through illegal activity.

Chat World™ complies with the Data Protection Act 1998. As such, no personal information will be shared between a third party, nor will it be retained for a period longer than necessary for the use of the application. General Policy Statement:

Whilst Chat World™ is firmly committed to the principles of the freedom of speech, certain activities are damaging to the resources of both Chat World™ and its users, and as such cannot be admitted as freedom of speech.

As part of our policy and daily operations, the activities of Chat World™ are routinely monitored. In our efforts to promote and ensure a safe, secure and friendly environment within the Chat World™ community, actions will be taken if we become, or are made aware of any behaviour which is deemed to be inappropriate.

If a Chat World™ registered user account is used to violate the Chat World™ Policies, we reserve the right to terminate the profile and the user’s access to the Chat World™network service without prior notice. Although in some situations, a warning of misuse of the site may be given, clear violations of the above policies will result in the immediate termination of membership and access to the Chat World™ network services.

Chat World™ management and its team, whilst doing its best to ensure the site and network remain free of abuse, cannot guarantee this at all times, and so take no responsibility for explicit content which may be published by users of the network. By registering as a member or using our anonymous rooms, the user accepts the risks associated with Chat World™.
